As a Doctor of Clinical Psychology and certified transition/life coach for over 20 years, I’ve spent significant time on both sides of the chair—as the therapist/coach guiding the breakthrough, and as the human doing my own deep work in therapy. But my greatest personal realizations never happened staring at an office wall. They happened when I stepped outside.
As a doctor of psych, transition coach, mindfulness instructor, and Pilates teacher, I am deeply connected to nature and movement, and the science now backs up what I always felt intuitively: when we step into the fresh air and walk side-by-side, our neurology shifts. The rhythmic cadence of walking stimulates a different part of the brain—unlocking creative problem-solving, lowering stress hormones, and allowing challenging life experiences, trauma, or major decisions to untangle naturally.
I founded Stride & Thrive Coaching to combine the two things I love most: the healing, grounding power of being outdoors and moving next to someone, and the privilege of helping you move through transitions to actively stride into a life where you thrive.
